A ‘Singing for Pleasure’ group meets at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Swanage on Thursday afternoons. The session starts at 2pm and finishes at 3.15pm and is usually followed by light refreshments.
The group is musically led by Karen Grant, well known as a local singer and entertainer.
We sing for enjoyment not finesse – singing a mixture of traditional songs, music from shows, films and pop. Requests for specific pieces can usually be met with a little notice, in order to produce sufficient copies of word sheets.
Although the group is supported by the local committee a contribution of £2 per person per session is requested.
